Joey Saldana made history on a couple of fronts on July 24, 1995. First and foremost, he scored his first career World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A-Feature win that night at I-96 Speedway in Michigan, by leading all 30 laps. Saldana picked up the victory over 20-time series champion Steve Kinser.
