Clio, MI — (June 6, 2015) — After getting rained out at Auto City the previous week, the MCR Dwarf Car Series made its lone trip of the season to Springport Motor Speedway. John Furnas would pace the field in qualifying with a 15.773 lap. Furnas would also pick up heat race number two, while the first heat went to Mike McManman Jr.
Furnas, the winner of five feature events last season, would hold off challenges from Morgen Baird and Eric Hoffman to complete the hat trick for the night! Baird would hold on for second while Hoffman, Bo Smith and Mike McManman Jr would complete the top five. With his win, Furnas takes over the point lead by one over Baird as the Series rolls in to Owosso Speedway.
