Crystal, MI — (June 6, 2015) — Saturday night at Crystal Motor Speedway finally found some beautiful weather with a huge car count and an excellent crowd. The Mora Mini Outlaw Sprints were on hand and Doug Roush took their feature.

The first order of regular business was to make up the Kentucky Fried Chicken Late Model feature that had been delayed from May 23rd. Zack Olger got out front and brought it home to take the win over Josh Borton, Ryan Kent, Kyle Borgman, Jesse Playter, Dean Huizenga, Rob Taylor, Amanda Wing, Garrett Wiles, and Doug Baird

The Port City Racecar Pro Stock feature saw John Taylor dominate the event until a caution bunched the field, putting Nate Jones, Don Rohn, and Mike VanderMark right on his tail. Two laps later, Jones was involved in a eight car pileup that sent him to the pits. Taylor was able to pull away from the pack and went on to win over VanderMark, Josh Loomis, Rob Brillhart, Derek Schestag, Blake Hollenbeck, Mike Husted, Jeramie Raby, Nick Stormzand, and Nick Rohloff. Heats went to Derek Crandall and Don Rohn.

The second KFC Late Model event saw Rachel Carpenter jump out to an early lead and then open up a comfortable lead until a restart bunched the field. On the restart, Ryan Kent began to challenge Carpenter but she held tight and pull away again. Zack Olger pulled up to and then beside Carpenter and the two went side by side through turn one and two with Olger finally taking the lead away and then cruised on to take the win. Kyle Borgman was second, followed by Kevin Reeve, Ryan VanderVeen, Scott Baker, Ryan Kent, Jesse Playter, Garrett Wiles, Dean Huizenga, and Carpenter. VanderVeen scored the B Main with heat wins going to Wiles, Carpenter, and Olger.

The Engine Pro Pro Truck feature got rolling with Ryan Paradise in the lead but a four truck log jam at the front developed, causing a caution. Paradise lead Smokey Grosnickle and Andrew Fidler at the green but coming out of turn two, Grosnickle took the lead. Fidler took the lead but Curtis Rice moved up and began to chase down Fidler and overtook him with four to go. Rice held on to win over Fidler, Don Proctor, Jr., Grosnickle, Dave Peters, Mickey Currier, Paradise, Don Proctor III, Jim Emmons, and Bree Brasington. Grosnickle and Rice scored heat gold.

Milt Montgomery held the early lead in the All-Star Performance IMCA Modified event with Dan Wiggins, Tim Sooy, and Myron DeYoung in tow. DeYoung made a furious charge and pulled almost even with Montgomery. DeYoung made the pass for the lead with three to go but lost an engine coming in for the white flag. Gary VanderMark jumped up from second and went on to win the feature over Wernette, Joe Fowler, Ken Ziegler, Brody Bowser, Sooy, Jimmy Hale, Jr., Robert Putt, Brady Hollenbeck, and Toby Steele. Fowler and John DeYoung won B Mains with Mitchell Hunt, Steele, Bowser, and VanderMark all taking heats.

Will Stanley lead the opening laps of the Street Stock feature with James Prochazka a couple lengths back. The pair began lapping traffic about half way through the event and went on to finish one two with Stanley taking the win, his second of the season. Prochazka was followed by Austin Wiley, Ryan Alexander, Doug McKeown, Sr., Jay Chlebek, James McKeown, Tyler Brillhart, Cody Broersma, and Joel Field. Stanley and Melvin Allen won heat races.

Justin Stahl jumped to the early lead of the Races On The Web Flinn Stocks but Taylor Runions began to zero in on the leader. Runions took ever so briefly, passing Stahl but was sling-shotted and Stahl resumed the lead. Runions made another move and finally took the lead with Gabe Gesselman moving into the top three. Runions went on to win over Justin Stahl, Gesselman, Benjamin Nott, Gary Larabee, Allen Roszell, Spencer Simon, Kevin Rohn, Jr., James Snyder, and Derrick Stahl. Heats fell to Runions and Nott.
