Mason, MI — (May 8, 2015) — With a weather forecast that seemed to get worse as the day went on, Spartan Speedway officials tried their best to get the racing program completed. Just as the Performance Automotive Northwest Modifieds were finishing up their qualifying session, the rain began to fall, and forced officials to call it an evening. John Kennedy was quick time in the Lipari foods Spartan Stock division with a best lap of 13.935. Then John Ward grabbed quick time with the Boss Snow Equipment Pony Stocks at 16.317. A strong field of The Parts Place Napa Bandoleros were also in the pit area ready for their opening night of racing.

Next week on May 15th, The Sawyers Chevrolet Superstore Spartan Sprints will make their return to the tight 1/4 mile. Also on the card will be the Lipari Foods Spartan Stocks, Boss Snow Equipment Pony Stocks, Sawyers Chevrolet Michigan Legends, and The Parts Place Napa Bandoleros.
